[Webcalendar] Appointments won't update

I have been running Webcal on a Linux server for over a year with very 
few problems.  Today, I encountered a bizarre behavior and I hope 
someone will have  the easy answer for me:

When I try to update an appointment (change or add some text, for 
instance), it goes through all the usual stuff, but when it gets back 
to the calendar, the event is unchanged.  I can add new events OK, but 
can't change them.  I also can't delete events.

I tried restarting wcald and that didn't help.  Are there any caches, 
status files, or whatever that I can delete to perhaps get these 
capabilities back?
