[Webcalendar] How do changes to webcalConfig.pm take effect?

I just wanted to follow up here to help out future users of WebCal. I
went back to the install directory and figured out that there's a
separate install script for running on redhat that I hadn't seen
before. Once I reinstalled using these scripts everything worked much
better.
On a different note, there are places at the webcal website that
reference a version 2.9. Does anybody know why this was never
released? From the demo calendar it looks like there are some new
features in it.
Thanks, Marcel

Hello there,
I've set up webcalendar 2.8.8 and it's pretty great.
I've got the basics worked out, but I can't seem
to get any of the changes in
webcalConfig.pm to take effect. I don't seem to have
an
admin level user, I can't stop users from
creating new calendars, I can't get a calendar to
be recognized as a corporate calendar, and I don't know
where my pending uploaded image is waiting for approval.
Can someone help me out? What am I missing?
Thanks, Marcel
