[Webcalendar] email reminders

When I enter a reminder in the meeting editor alone, it does not  always
work,
after entering the information on that page, I get a page asking if I'd like
to send
a reminder to all invitees, which I also fill out since this one seems more
reliable.

Can you tell me what might cause the reminder to go out
several times?  I was thinking, [perhaps when I do modify
on the event,  I re-enter the mail alias each time since it
does not appear in the field, this might be causing it?

Is there anywhere I can check that might let
me know how many times it is queued up to go out?  Or
should I assume although it is not in the field, that it is already
in there?
