I am not using the most recent version, but sometimes it seems it would
be useful to
have "groups" in webcalendar for authorization purposes.
E.g. there is a group "secretaries" who are allowed to edit a manager's
calendar, and
to which members can be added or removed by the administrator.
Then, when a secretary joins or leaves, it will not be necessary to
modify the permissions
on the manager's calendars. And, all the secretaries will be able to
modify the entries
made by others.
A group would be like a global meeting group, but it would be used for
authorization purposes.
Kind of like a group in Unix or Windows NT.
Is something like this available in a version after 2.8-2 ?
