From hunter a t brainspiral.com Thu Feb 10 15:17:38 2005 From: hunter a t brainspiral.com (Hunter Greene) Date: Thu, 10 Feb 2005 10:17:38 -0500 Subject: [Webcalendar] (no subject) Message-ID: Over the past year I have found webcal to be an amazingly useful tool, and I continue to promote its use wherever I can. I currently have webcal authentication being done by ldap - which is working well. The problem I've been running into, however, is that all my usernames are email addresses, and webcal doesn't seem to like ' a t 's in usernames. I've found a way around it - create the username without an ' a t ', then modify the password, folder & info files with the correct username including the ' a t '. Haven't run into any problems with it so far. So my question is: Why are ' a t 's not allowed in usernames, and can special character usage be disabled somewhere? Message-ID: <4215BF78.3060905 a t fz-juelich.de> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Dear all everytime we set up a contact email address and we did add a new date entry for a group and notification by email. Then the person whos contact email address is given gets all the mails normally the members get. The language settings of the members are used too. e.g. then 40 mails as remembering goes to the contact person. If we don't give a contact email address all goes right. We think this is a bug. Please give a note if this is fixed in a newer version as 2.8-8 cheers Reimar - -- Reimar Bauer Institut fuer Stratosphaerische Chemie (ICG-I) Forschungszentrum Juelich email: R.Bauer a t fz-juelich.de - ------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ a IDL library at ForschungsZentrum Juelich ~ http://www.fz-juelich.de/icg/icg-i/idl_icglib/idl_lib_intro.html =================================================================== -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCFb905aOc3Q9hk/kRApGiAJ9U28Of3dLbu/HxTeVTZ9Ce5tXwWwCaA4wY YI4/uw6kaMR3gZzICsX4EbA= =pbtI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- From mzou a t math.utexas.edu Fri Feb 18 21:39:17 2005 From: mzou a t math.utexas.edu (Maorong Zou) Date: Fri, 18 Feb 2005 15:39:17 -0600 Subject: [Webcalendar] bug in email announcement ? Thanks for reporting. I've just put in a fix for it. You can just get the current webcald.pl from the CVS repository http://cvs.math.utexas.edu/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/?cvsroot=webCal and try it out. This is corrected by editing the following 3 lines in wcal-misc.pl and adding "/doc" to the path so "{'imgdir'}/h/$lang" becomes "{'imgdir'}/doc/h/$lang".
