Over the past year I have found webcal to be an amazingly useful tool,
and I continue to promote its use wherever I can.

I currently have webcal authentication being done by ldap - which is
working well. The problem I've been running into, however, is that all
my usernames are email addresses, and webcal doesn't seem to like ' a t 's
in usernames. I've found a way around it - create the username without
an ' a t ', then modify the password, folder & info files with the correct
username including the ' a t '. Haven't run into any problems with it so
far. So my question is: Why are ' a t 's not allowed in usernames, and
can special character usage be disabled somewhere?

Many thanks,
