I am very impressed with webcal. I have used webcalng for about a year now but it seems that webcal would suit my needs better. However, I am unable to get webcal to send out emails. Webcal doesn't complain when I send emails to everyone on the invite list (one person now) and I don't see any errors in the errorlog. On my server I know that I am able to send emails because webcalng is able to do so. I don't understand how webcal sends email (I am running on winXP and have outlook express installed as the mail program). A couple of questions related to the webcalconfig.pm settings: 1. 'daemonEmail'=>'webcal a t localhost.localdomain', is it necessary to update this? my domain is lforeman.homeip.net. 2. Settings related to sendmail: 'sendmail'=>'', Do I set this to my email program (i.e. directory path and outlook express executable)?? 'smtpto'=>'mail.swbell.net', On my other email programs, my smtp server is mail.swbell.net. 'smtpfrom'=>'webcal a t lforeman.homeip.net', Does this line make any difference (perhaps I ought to have linc1234 a t swbell.net which is my email account)?? Would it be best if I set up sendmail on my windowsXP server? Also, is it possible to have more than one email associated with a contact, with emails separated by a comma for example? Same issue in my case. I wrote earlier that I was having trouble getting the e-mail part of WebCalendar to work under XP. It now works if I send messages immediately, but not if I opt to send out reminders to invitees 5 minutes before the event. I get a message "Message queued for delivery" but nothing happens after that.
