[Maxima] Large expressions in wxmaxima

Hello,


How can I force wxmaxima 0.7.2 to show large expressions?

If I write

fpprec:100$ bfloat(%pi);

what I get is

3.1415926535897932384626433832[43 digits]6286208998628034825342117068b0

There is an option in Prefereces about that, but it doesn't work, even 
after resetting wxmaxima.
