[Maxima] Area of Circle-Circle Intersection?

One of the most common misunderstandings of Maxima is by new users who
expect it to solve problems (equations, integrals, ...) numerically.

I wonder if we should have a "newbie" mode for Maxima which under certain
conditions would provide useful comments.  If an integral with no free
variables returns a noun form, you get the comment
      Maxima could not integrate your expression in closed form;
      for information on numerical integration, try ?? XXX
Similarly for solve.

Of course, we'd want to have a way to turn off newbie mode persistently.
Apparently we don't have such a mechanism (short of an init file).
