[Maxima] New contributor to maxima project & need of help.

 Hello to everyone.My name is Konstantinos Derekas and i am studying Computer
Engineering at the Department of Computer & Communication Engineering -
University of Thessaly at Greece.

 My supervisor mr.
Akritas(http://www.inf.uth.gr//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&lang=en&id=294)
and i are interested of MAXIMA in the terms of translating/implementing a GREEK
interface.Along with the more attractive(and of course easier to use)
standalone GUI of wxMaxima we think that this would be a great opportunity for
being propsed and used for educational purposes at highschools etc.

 I searched http://maxima.sourceforge.net/ site but i didn't find any
descriptive info about the source code files etc.So i would like you to guide
me on how to locate the file or files which determine the language of the
Maxima UI.I've allready had a glimpse on the source code(maxima-5.19.2) but
nothing seemed obvious.
 Further more i would like you to clarify if wxMaxima has it's own language
package or it adapts Maxima's.
