WELCOME TO THE

Homepage of Tamás Hausel

Royal Society University Research Fellow at the Mathematical Insitute of Oxford University
Tutorial Fellow in Mathematics at Wadham College

I have been to various schools before coming here. My cv is available here . You can check out some recent talks (with downloadable slides of some talks) I am giving these days. You can also visit the homepage of Nigel Hitchin I am maintaining and the homepages of seminars (with lecture notes) I ran in Berkeley.

My research interests lie in an old subject namely geometry. In more detail: I am interested in combinatorial, differential and algebraic geometry and topology, and in general wherever (quaternionic) geometry appears. In even more detail, or as a motto : I have a liking of algebraic techniques in describing the visualizable mathematical reality. You can look at my publication list, where you can download all of my papers.

My research is funded by a Royal Society University Research Fellowship 2005-2010 and an NSF grant DMS-0604775 2006-2009.

You can also visit the homepages of some of my family, friends and colleagues.
