Witten's zeta function and hyperplane arrangements

We review Witten's localization principle, the related Jeffrey-Kirwan
residue formula, and the application of these to the computation of
intersection numbers on moduli spaces of flat connections. We will also
discuss an algorithm to compute such numbers in a more general framework
of hyperplane arrangements.
