For the Fall 2012 semester, I was the instructor of record for M408K. For the Spring 2013 semester, I have no teaching responsibilities.
I am currently particpating as a mentor in the geometry group's Directed Reading Program for undergraduates.
Teaching distinctions
Supplemental Instruction: I spent four semesters as an SI instructor. SI is a nationally recognized program that aims to improve student performance and increase retention by integrating critical skills training with content review to give students both the material mastery and cognitive tools they need to succeed.
In 2009, I earned the Frank Gerth III Teaching Excellence Award at the University of Texas (pictured right).
